I finally had the change to test the Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer, I had heard a lot about it so I was anxious to test it.

First thing I noticed was that it looks and feels like a commercial machine. Remember we are talking about an elliptical that is on sale now for just $1437.

The motion feels very natural and smooth mostly because you have a 20” stride. This is very long for a budget elliptical, mostly they only have 14”-16” strides. Another great feature is the heavy duty 30 lbs flywheel which also contributes to a ‘walking on air’ experience.

The foot paddles are adjustable and it runs very quiet so you can easily watch TV or listen to music. It comes with a wireless heart monitor, which is comfortable and easy to apply, or you can use the stationary handle bars that have built-in pulse sensors.

This is not an easy to fold or move elliptical machine, quite frankly its very heavy so you need a fixed place for it. I like it because it makes the Sole E55 sturdy and makes it possible to go all out during a workout.

Overall I am impressed with the sole elliptical trainer and I highly recommend it to people who are looking for the quality of a commercial elliptical without the price tag.
