Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Training Review | The Right Begin To Start Exercising Your Body

Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Training ReviewAerobic training can be lots of fun but for most people who just start exercising or did not workout for some time its very difficult and they just cannot physically do it. This can be very bad for moral and can lead to giving up exercising in an early stage. Another thing is most workout DVD’s are quite long and many people don’t have the time to train an hour everyday.

Well Tony Horton who also brought you the P90X Extreme Home Fitness invented the Tony Horton 10 Minute Training. This great set of DVD’s uses his breakthrough Super Stacking TechniqueTM and includes 10 minute workouts for total body, cardio, lower body, yoga flex and an abs routine. It also has a resistance band, and a belt kit.

Don’t think you just off the hook with just 10 minutes a day because the program encourages you to stack the workouts so you eventually train 30 minutes. By breaking up the workout it is much more user friendly because you can easily work your way up or when you are busy you can do only one or two workouts so you at least you did that and don’t feel guilty of missing your workout.

The DVD’s are of good quality and well lighted. All exercises are well explained and easy to follow. This is a perfect product for anyone who wants to start exercising or get back into shape.

More features of The Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Training:

  • Power Cardio Belt to add extra resistance
  • Customized Workout Calendar
  • Rapid Results Guidebook
  • Tips and recipes nutritious, tasty, low-calorie meals in less than 10 minutes

Kettlebell with Vinyl Coating | Combines Strength, Cardio And Flexibility Training

Gofit Kettlebell with Vinyl CoatingAs you may know the former Soviet Union did a lot of experiments with all kinds of strength training techniques because sport was of political importance. So you could say they know a great deal about strength training and one of their best kept secrets is the Kettlebell also called ‘the ball of strength’ or Girya.

The Kettlebell is a traditional Russian trainings tool and is been used since 1700. It is like a cannonball with a handle and can be used for many different kinds of exercises. It combines strength, cardio and flexibility in one training and is an extremely powerful training method to improve your body composition.

Kettlebells are suitable for men and women and for all trainings levels. They are often used by athletes from many different sports to improve their condition, strength and flexibility. Most of the exercises done with the Kettlebells are much closer to real life movements then traditional strength training and there are no pauses between exercises. This makes a 20 minute workout very intense and it is no wonder the Special Forces and police men are using Kettlebell workouts for their training.

Gofit offers premium quality Kettlebells with floor friendly vinyl coating and powder-coated handle that makes them easy to use, less slippery, and easier to switch from hand to hand. They come in 10, 15, 20, 25, 35 and 45 pounds.

Other Features Of The GoFit Kettlebell:

  • Introductory training DVD done by Sarah Lurie
  • Exercise booklet
  • High quality vinyl coating to protect your floor

Weight Loss Transformation By Example

The most difficult part of a weight loss program is to keep on doing it for a longer period of time. Best would be to change your eating habits and doing exercises the rest of your life. This becomes easier when you start seeing the results of your hard work when you look in the mirror and you get used to your new way of life.

Another good tool to boost moral are examples of people who already changed their way of life and have booked amazing results. They inspire you and if they can do it you can do it.

That’s why I want to give you a good example of what is possible if you stick to a healthy diet and start doing aerobic exercise and weight training. Our example of a big weight loss transformation is Jeff. He weighted 352 lbs when he started and now weights 170 lbs. Check out his story and read how he did it.

Vital Stats
Name: Jeff Setton
Email: jeff.setton@rogers.com
Weight Before: 352lbs
Weight After: 170lbs
BF% Before: 48.9%
BF% After: 6.7%
Lean Muscle Before: 132lbs
Lean Muscle After: 158lbs

How I Did It
Two simple words can describe what is required in order to achieve these results: dedication and commitment. All it takes is being aware of what your regimen consists of, what to eat, and when to workout, and everything else falls into place.
I was somewhat of an active child. From the age of 6, I played hockey 3-4 times/week, and did this up until I was 15 years old. When my biggest growth spurt hit, I seemed to lose interest in all physical activity.

To make matters worse, I had recently started a job in a retail sports store, in which I was working 30-40 hours/week on top of keeping up with school. This led me to become even more lazy in terms of physical activity, and I found myself eating fast food 2-3 times/day making the absolute worst choices when it came to food (McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza, etc.).
During my downtime, I found myself rarely being social with kids my age, due to the fact that I was completely burned out from school and work. As a result, I often took 1-2 hour naps in the middle of each day. Due to the lack of activity and horrible eating habits, my weight could only go one way, UP.

As you can imagine, I rarely looked at myself in the mirror as I got disgusted with the way I looked. Although most people could not believe how much I let myself go, I chose to block that out of my mind and did not think anything was wrong with being big.
Tipping the scale at my heaviest at 384lbs, I had no perception of how much my weight problem was getting in the way of my everyday life. Now, after losing over 200lbs, I realize how much I was being held back. Barely fitting into most furniture (chairs, couches, etc) and wearing a 58″ pair of jeans was not something that I could keep up for much longer without affecting my health.

I started this program at 352lbs on March 15th, and exactly nine months and four days later, I weighed in at 170lbs. That’s 182lbs less in just over 9 months (about 20 lbs/month). I went from wearing a 58″ waist and 4XL shirt, to a 32″ waist and a S-M top (depending on the brand).
My blood pressure went from 165/100 and a rest heart rate of about 87 beats/minute to 110/68 and a resting heart of 48 beats/minute!!! This, of course, is the result of the cardio exercise I did religiously while loosing weight.

The Step F1010W Original Health Club Step | Your Way To Step Aerobic

The Step F1010W Original Health Club StepStep aerobics was innovated by Gin Miller circa 1989 and it is one of the best forms of aerobic exercise that can take your cardio workout to new levels. It burns loads of calories with about half the impact of running and gives your butt and legs an awesome workout.

Step aerobics is very welcoming for newbies and requires much less complicated moves than other forms of exercise. With The Step F1010W Original Health Club Step you can start easy because it is adjustable in height. You can start with 4 inches high and work your way up to 6 and 8 inches. The platform of the step is very big and makes you workout more enjoyable. It is also very sturdy so you have a safe feeling when using it.

Using The Step will not only burn calories, it will help you get in great cardio condition, train your legs, calves and core muscles and the exercises will give you balance as well as a good feel for rhythm.

To make sure you get the most out of your Step you may want to add a Step DVD like Step Aerobics with Gilad. This DVD is one of my favorites and has a nice variety of moves without complex choreography.

In conclusion The Step is a very good indoor exercise program that really works, it’s fun to do and doesn’t make you sore afterwards.

Being Physically Active Can Add More Healthy Years To Your Life Than Just Being Slim

A recent study published in the Journal of American Medical Association and carried out at the University of South Carolina concludes that your physical fitness is more vital than what you weigh when it comes to safeguarding your health.

For 12 years, researchers observed the health and mortality of 2,600 people age 60 and older. The researchers monitored the participants obesity by measuring body mass index, waist circumference and percentage of body fat. The physical fitness of the participants was also rated by timing a workout on a treadmill with an increasing incline.

Participants were divided into fifths based on how well they scored on the treadmill test. Those in the lowest fifth were four times more likely to die during the study period as those in the top fifth.

“Being fit provides protection against mortality in these men and women 60 and older, whether they’re normal weight, overweight or obese,” said researcher Stephen Blair.

Just a relatively small increase in fitness level amounted to a dramatic decrease in mortality; the lowest fitness group had double the mortality rate of even the next lowest group. From this research, Blair determined that those who are overweight should definitely be encouraged to exercise, even if it is only in small amounts in the beginning.

“If you’re overweight or obese and you’re inactive and not in shape and you start taking three 10-minute walks a day and you do that no less than five days a week, you’re not going to drop an huge amount of weight,” Blair said. “You will still be heavy. But you’re going to be a great deal healthier if you do that.”

Blair noted that it is still vital to maintain a healthy weight and eat a good diet, particularly one high in fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

“But what happens all too often is we focus almost solely on obesity and forget the activity and fitness part.”

This post was based on a post from Natural News - Independent news on natural health by David Gutierrez.
